How I Feel About The Book Of Mormon
I recently ran across a new part of the mormon.org website published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is dedicated to helping people understand The Book of Mormon. It made me reflect on how I feel about The Book of Mormon.
I have read The Book of Mormon together with my family for as long as I can remember. I have also spent a lot of time studying the scriptures on my own, including The Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ. It tells of ancient people who lived on the American continent since before Christ’s birth.
My favorite part of the book is when Jesus Christ came to visit the people in the Americas after His resurrection and ascension. These were some of the people He was referring to when He said, “Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd” (John 10:16) It only makes sense that they would record these events and keep a record to be passed down. The Book of Mormon is that record.
Some people have tried to argue that Joseph Smith wrote the book out of his imagination. That’s just not true. There’s no way that an uneducated farm boy would have been able to write such a book. Anyone who’s read it with an honest heart and prayed to understand will tell you that it’s a true book which testifies of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that it is a true account of the people who lived on the American continent years ago. I know that with all of my heart. The Book of Mormon has influenced my life in countless ways. It has brought me peace and comfort in troubling times. It has increased my testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ. It has brought me closer to my Heavenly Father. I know that it is true. If you’d like to request a copy, you can visit this link and receive a free Book of Mormon. Then, I would challenge you to read it and pray to know for yourself if it is true.

Thank you for your the inspirational blog.
