Prom Dress Drive in Glenns Ferry, Idaho
I’ve been thinking, “Wouldn’t it be nice if someone did a prom dress drive to gather modest prom dresses in our area?” And after talking to a friend, I realized that I have a talent for sewing and I would really enjoy doing something like that. So, I’m taking it upon myself to start gathering prom dresses for a modest prom dress closet like the one they showed in the video that I posted a few weeks ago.
If anyone has any dresses that they would like to donate, I would love to come and pick them up or have you drop them off at my house. Whatever works best. Call me at 208-366-7126. I’ll travel to Boise, Twin Falls, Mountain Home, or anywhere in between. You can clean out your closet and donate those dresses to someone who could really use them and appreciate them. Plus, you’ll be helping to keep our young women modest.
We would love to get modest prom dresses but will accept any dresses we can find in hopes of making each dress modest, either with alterations or with a bolero jacket or something similar.
