The Importance of Forgiveness
Don’t watch this video without a tissue in hand. It is a very touching account of a man who lost his expectant wife and two of their children in a car wreck. It’s the story of how he was able to forgive the teenager who had been drinking and hit their car. He says that it was just the Savior working through him that allowed him to forgive. He talked of how he was just an instrument in The Lord’s hands and that all he needed to do was to get out of the way. Personally, I think that would be very hard to do.
It’s more than just the Sunday school answer that we need to forgive everyone. It’s real life and it’s a lot harder than just saying, I forgive you. It’s a commandment, though and we do need to forgive everyone.
