Women’s Conference: I Just Registered!
Women’s Conference at BYU, or commonly called Women’s Week, has quickly become a tradition among my sisters, my mother, and I. The past few years, I was unable to attend, and I am so excited that I was able to register for this year’s women’s conference. There are so many things I love about this conference, and I’ll show you all the reasons I’m so thrilled to be going.
Well, my sisters, my mom and I are crazy when we all get together and we just act like little girls sometimes, staying up late and giggling about funny stuff. We break out into songs on the spur of the moment and act as if we’re starring in a musical or a commercial or something. We interrupt each other, recite Monty Python skits in chorus, and generally make fools of ourselves. We join arms, skipping and dancing through tunnels on our way to classes. Our husbands probably wouldn’t come even if they were allowed.
Amidst all of this crazy fun, we go to really spiritual classes, led by inspiring leaders, where the Spirit is so strong, you are laughing and crying all in the same breath. I love the feeling of spiritual growth I get from attending these classes.
They also have this instant choir, where you go and practice together one time, then perform the opening songs at the opening ceremonies. The cool thing is that it sounds marvelous because everyone can download the songs on the internet and practice their parts at home. It’s amazing to be part of something so phenomenal.
Besides all that, we get to participate in humanitarian efforts to help make things for charity. That is really fun. Last year, we made baby blankets for lots of babies. We also colored little books to help children learn to read.
And, if that weren’t enough, they have great entertainment from some really talented musicians, and the ice cream at the dairy is to DIE for! So, if you want to go, you can register for it here.

I just stopped by, great blog and thanks for reminding me how much I love Womens Conference too!
Thanks for stopping by, Sarah. I’m glad you love Women’s Conference as much as I do. Hope to see you there. If you spot me, introduce yourself. I’d love to meet you. Maybe we can all have ice cream and be silly together.
It is fantastic you get to do this with your sisters.
I agree. It’s going to be wonderful.
